Yes. Everyday compression is free with no account. A subscription only adds larger files, bigger batches and no waiting.

Which files can I compress?

Images, video and PDF have their own apps, and the ZIP and archive apps pack any kind of file at all, including a mix of them.

How large a file can I upload?

Up to 50 MB per upload without an account, and 5 files at a time. Registering for free raises both, and the paid plans raise them further.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so it works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

Will compressing reduce the quality?

It depends on the app. ZIP and the other archives are lossless, so nothing changes at all. Images, video and PDF trade a little quality for a smaller file, and you choose how much.

What happens to my files?
